Spaces Designed for You
Hall
The village hall can hold approximately 120 people for a sit down meal or approximately 200 people for music events (not seated). There are plenty of chairs and 24 long tables (seats 8) and 12 small square tables. We have a wooded theatre style stage which is big enough for drama and panto performances.
Projection equipment and a screen are available but need to be requested in advance. We have good quality WIFI
We provide accessible toilets and parking plus step-free access.
There is a large kitchen with two fridges, freezer, dishwasher, large commercial cooker, hot cupboard, coffee machine, 2 x constant hot water boilers, microwave, There are plenty of tea cups, plates and bowls and various side plates There is cutlery for approx 120 which can be borrowed on request. Please note there are no pans or baking trays provided.
Tea towels, cloths and table cloths are provided.

Both the Hall and Pavilion are licenced to have entertainment and alcohol within these buildings.

Pavilion
An ideal venue for smaller events. It provides:
A comfortable and carpeted room, the space can accommodate upto 40-45 people in a Town Hall style and ten tables of 4 people for crafts/meetings. It’s a flexible space so, you can easily set things up to meet your requirements. Once you’ve decided what you need, let us know and we’ll provide tables and chairs to suit.
There are toilets, changing rooms and a shower. We also have a soft play area off the side of the main space with direct access to the Playing Field.
The pavilion has its own tables and chairs but more can be borrowed from the Village Hall if needed.
There is a kitchen with a wall mounted hot water boiler, electric oven with hob, large commercial fridge, freezer, microwave and plenty of cups, saucers and tea plates.
Other crockery and cutlery can be borrowed from the Village Hall by arrangement.
The Pavilion and playing field are frequently hired together to host outdoor events and sports.

Playing Field
Because it’s a large space, the field can be used for a variety of events.
It is mown frequently, to suit the weather, so it it has a great surface which is good for sports, weddings, horse & dog shows and family parties etc.
The field is frequently rented alongside either the Hall or Pavilion as this provides all the facilities needed (kitchen, loos, changing rooms etc) to support any number of outdoor events. Whilst we are licenced to have entertainment and alcohol within our buildings, if this is required for the field then the hirer would need to get a TEN licence from Stratford District Council.
Booking the field requires a bit more organisation from us, especially where multiple events are happening at the same time. Most things are doable as we’re pretty flexible and have plenty of experience. The best thing to do is to contact Lisa to discuss your requirements and let her weave her magic. Enquire
