Keep Brailes Village Hall Thriving

The Village Hall is a charity and everything we do is self funded. Consequently, we undertake a huge range of activities to raise funds which we use to maintain and expand services for our local community and all who use the hall.

A big chunk of annual spending simply keeps the ‘lights on’. However, when we have a major project, such as the recent improvement and modernisation of the children’s Play Area, new guttering, decorating and a website that works, we need a major fundraising push.

We can’t achieve this without volunteers to help us. Experienced fundraisers are a rare breed (if you are one please shout!!) but all offers of help are extremely welcome and we’d love to talk to you. It does not need to be a major commitment. For example it could be a few hours of your time to tell us about grants we might apply for or sponsorship opportunities you know of. We are all ears to find clever ongoing ways to raise funds and new ideas and potential opportunities always give us a boost.

Our focus is supporting the village and local community. It is our driving force.
